all i know is that i fail at maneuvering any vehicle in any sort of capacity, so having a driver’s license is incredulous… being 26 and not having a single thing on my record is overly astounding… i guess i just want to go back in time, now, and see if i can’t take my dad’s old beat up clunker around the back yard. maybe if i had the chance now, i’d be able to miss all the trees and not stall it at every turn…

How I did it: get some snacks, get a carload of folks, some chairs and blankets, and get driving on in. voila, a lifelong dream come true in minutes. i hope i get the chance to do it again. Read how I did it…
How I did it: it used to bother me that everyone around me found people... until i realized that they were okay with settling with whoever would love them... i was frustrated and mockingly decided to hold off on love until i found someone who fit everything on my list of "must haves." i was cynical and truly made one, trying to defy any person remotely interested in me to live up to it all. i still can't believe i found someone who actually did. honest… Read how I did it…
i realize that i no longer want this. it just might not be in my best interest of my spiritual being for this to be. exes are a part of the past for a reason. we can all smile fondly on the memories and appreciate all the ways that our exes have helped us grow… but it didn’t work out for a reason (or two, or three, or many…). and i need to accept that, accept that friendship isn’t always gonna be an option, and move on.
consequently, as a part of leaving as a student teacher, my students write to me via snail mail. it works.
