Thanks, Bike & Build, for helping me cross several more states off my list!
23. Ohio – Dayton was a surprisingly awesome city with great fireworks and used bookstores.
24. Indiana – Boring and flat. Don’t remember it.
25. Iowa – Unexpectedly beautiful (and not flat). Some of my best memories of the summer are from Iowa, in spite of (or partly because of?) intense thunderstorms and long days.
26. South Dakota – Beautiful. Never going back.
27. Nebraska – Home of Carhenge (yup, Stonehenge made from old cars).
28. Missouri – Meet me in St. Louis.
29. Wyoming – The Tetons omgwtfbbq SO INCREDIBLE. I cried.
30. Idaho – Also beautiful, and Coeur d’Alene is awesome. So is Dante’s Peak.
31. Montana – Intensely gorgeous. Want to live in Missoula.
32. Washington – Eastern Washington = wheat fields and rodeos. Who knew? The Cascades rival the Tetons for best mountains ever. Seattle rocks.
Boom. More than halfway there.
