My Spanish reading is slow, slow, slow, but definately faster than it started out being. I am currently 2/3 through my third Harry Potter, and the third book: El Prisionero de Azkaban. I have only read the first one in English. I love these books, and they are quick moving so they keep my interest.

I have been in Central America for 2 1/2 years without a car, and I love it! Someday I will go back to the states, probably Oregon. It will be much harder to live without a car there, but I would like to try.
It's been so hard to learn!

I’ve been working on Spanish for 5 years, and living in Central America for over 2 years… will fluency ever come? I do feel very lucky now because I am trading English classes for Spanish practice. But when I get the least bit nervous, Bamm!, I don’t know anything anymore. Also, I am on my third Harry Potter book in Spanish. Those are fun to read in Spanish.
