emails, septuagenarians, and spelling bee worthy words 1 year ago

on 04.30.07 I’m grateful for…
1. An email from Krydal.
2. My free rental coupon from Blockbuster Rewards.
3. Spending the afternoon with my grandparents. I love their stories, the way the air feels in their house – cool and dusty, and their yard with its rusted Wagon Wheels and Tire Planters. I wish I could have seen it in its prime.
3. Being able to go back to the house I grew up in – even if Corporate America is approaching it from all 4 sides.
4. That I found my dad’s dutch oven. It was hiding in the back corner of one of his darker kitchen cabinets. Apparently, it’s been around since I was three years old.
