I really loved Mexico.
I recommend: Tulum (stay on the beach), Oaxaca (go at Christmas), San Cristobal (bring something warm), Palenque and Mexico City (the el DF is a very fun and interesting place)
Its very rare that I watch normal TV now. My Tivo serves me what I actually want to see. No more wasting hours watching junk.
