How I did it: Facebook really tries to guilt trip you when you deactivate your account. First they ask you if you're sure you want to do it. Then they show you pictures of your friends telling you that they'll miss you. They they ask you again if you're sure. They make you tell them why you're going. How I did it: Like I said in my last entry, I realized I didn't like Skittles or vodka, so I took the idea and made Jolly Rancher rum instead. I bought a big bottle of Bacardi, four one-liter jugs, and a big bag of delicious Jolly Ranchers. I divided the Jolly Ranchers by flavor, and put about 13 in each jug. How I did it: I cheated. I chopped it all off. BUT to keep it healthy after all the choppage, I tried using a variety of different shampoos and conditioners. I find that natural products worked the best for me, like Burt's Bees, Avalon Organics, or just plain baking soda and vinegar. Today I filed for unemployment for the first time. Wooo…
In all straight up honest to god honesty, this layoff was a good thing. I can use this time to seriously seriously think about a career and not just a job.
