Staring at the computer and not being part of the outside world was starting to make me go a little crazy. However, I did have an interview at a staffing agency looking for bartenders. I got offered the job, though I’d pretty much be on call all the time…and uniforms cost about $100. It seems like good money, but I don’t know.

How I did it: Like I said in my last entry, I realized I didn't like Skittles or vodka, so I took the idea and made Jolly Rancher rum instead. I bought a big bottle of Bacardi, four one-liter jugs, and a big bag of delicious Jolly Ranchers. I divided the Jolly Ranchers by flavor, and put about 13 in each jug. Then I filled each jug about halfway with Bacardi and shook em up. The candy took about half an hour to dissolve. Once they were completely melte… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I cheated. I chopped it all off. BUT to keep it healthy after all the choppage, I tried using a variety of different shampoos and conditioners. I find that natural products worked the best for me, like Burt's Bees, Avalon Organics, or just plain baking soda and vinegar. I make my own leave in conditioner with a mix of coconut oil, jojoba oil, and grapeseed oil. Buying everything separately was a little expensive (about $10 a bottle, so $3… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I opened up an Excel spread sheet and made a row for every day of the month. Then I made three columns: cash, credit, and debit. At the end of every day, I typed up every penny I spent. This was a smart way to see where all of my money was going. Read how I did it…

I may have landed an internship! It’s not exactly what I was looking for, and I’m not exactly sure it’s an internship (is free labor an internship, no matter what?)but..it’s something. I’m excited because this could be awesome, but I don’t want to get too hopeful yet, juuuust in case. I’ll post more when I find out if it’s legitimate or not.
I also got an email back from another internship I applied to. I thought it was a music marketing internship, but it’s just general marketing. It’s remote and it doesn’t seem to take up much time. I’m considering it because it’s something to put on my resume, even though it’s not what I want to do at all.
and internships. I sent my resume out to 12 places yesterday, a little under 20 this week. I am almost frazzled and I have so much more to go.
