And hard to do. Where I live it’s hard to get a spot in a preschool. This was the most important thing I did all year.

Knitters as Hackers

Learning to knit socks gave me a real appreciation for our foremothers as hackers. Knitting a tube with five needles?! Amazing.
Plus, hand knit socks are amazingly comfortable.
Do a weekly School Check

Did “School Check” for 1/10. Recalled all the schools to make sure I was on the mailing list, filled out and mailed one more application, and signed up by phone for one visiting day. And prayed. Why is getting a kid into a preschool around here so hard?
