This is ongoing. I started when the pool at my gym was closed for maintainence, and therefore my water aerobics class was canceled. Since I was already there, I asked what else was coming up. “Well, yoga starts in 15 minutes.” so I tried it. This was a “Power Yoga” class. Wow! Talk about hard! But at the end of class, my thought was “Well, she didn’t kill me.” So I went back the next week. And continued doing so, week after week. I later added a second day of yoga each week. My mantra for about the first 2 years was, “Well, she hasn’t killed me yet.” I was never a flexible child. I am now able to do more than I ever thought I would. The class has been canceled, and I find I miss it. I’ve found a new gym, and they plan to add yoga classes. Great!
