Today I’m most grateful for a quality time spent with my boyfriend, running together, admiring the clear full moon and glossy ocean surface, than wading in its icy water. I’m grateful for the feeling in my body after a good workout and the way my skin and muscles felt after being treated with cold water. And the massage that my feet received from the pebbles on the bottom.

I’m grateful for the hopeful response to my enquiry about potential work through a company. I’m grateful to the friend who so kindly recommended me to this company.

I’m grateful that the flat is nice and warm and I can enjoy a lovely evening in good company.

Over the weekend I took part in a wonderful workshop with people I know, value and like spending time with. The most beautiful thing for me is that Vicky and I were both welcome. Even though it was sensitive and delicate work that required full attention of everybody and no distractions, Vicky was given a chance to come into the room were everybody was and stay with us.

I am so grateful for having had time with Vicky. She has brought so much joy and laugh and fun into our lives. Tomorrow she is going home, to her owner. She taught me a lot about dogs, abou nature, about social beings, about passion, determination, simply asking for your needs and desires to be fulfilled, without getting offended when you’re refused, about language, about me. She highlighted my little anxieties and showed me where I’ve tried to control her for my own purposes (rather than solely for her own good).

1) Today I was able to bring Vicky (the dog I’m looking after at the moment) to a singing session. It was wonderful to have her there and she fell asleep on my lap as we were singing.
