It is pitiful that I only speak one language. In my opinion, everyone should have a go at being bilingual… or at least learning a bit of general conversation in another language. I think I’d like to learn to speak French as I wasn’t too terrible at it during school… perhaps if I have a little knowledge base to start on then I’ll be more motivated to learn!

How I did it: To say it took me 23 years is perhaps an exaggeration, I just mean that I have literally wanted to go ALL of my life (give or take a few years!).I did not achieve this alone... my fiance decided to take me to the Ritz to celebrate my 23rd birthday. So he booked it around 5 months in advance and we went on my actual birthday - Sat 26th September. Read how I did it…
How I did it: I borrowed the boxsets from my brother and started to watch them in order from series one.I watched 2 or 3 episodes every night before I went to bed, along with a few episodes while travelling for holidays etc.I carried on watching even when I didn't understand what was going on!! And now I can't wait to start watching season 5! Read how I did it…
My wardrobe is chaotic… I have far too many clothes. Many are so beautiful. And yet many still have the tags and have never ever been worn!
I am a terrible hoarder… I have clothes in my wardrobe that I have had since I was 15 (and am now 22!!). I just can’t bare to throw anything away. I have some clothes in there that are a UK size 12… WHY?! I have never been a size 12 in my whole life confused
My friend told me today that every 6 months she cleans out her wardrobe… if she hasn’t worn it during those past 6 months (weather permitting) then she THROWS IT OUT! It makes me shudder to think about it. Doesn’t matter if it’s designer or high street, fancy or basic… if it hasn’t been aired, she doesn’t keep it. Thing is, this woman leads a wonderfully super-organised life… I want me a piece of that action.
Now, I can’t promise a 6 month turn over… but come autumn when I start to get all the jumpers out again, I’m going to try to have a really good and honest assessment of what I do and don’t need. Wish me luck!!
