I'm doing 30 things
was chosen to be part of a dance team representing N. Ireland in the World Dance Cup in Villach, Austria in June :) She’s so happy and i’m so pleased for her. As a result, the both of us will be getting a weeks holiday in Austria….we’re stopping off in Vienna for a day or two. Yay.

How I did it: First of all we got to know each other on 43 over the last two years. We sent each other cards, books, thoughts. We talked to each other on the phone. We joked about meeting. TP got a new job. He came to the UK to study and work. We decided now was the time and that we shouldn't waste it. Read how I did it…

How I did it: i commented on some posts that i found interesting. we struck up a friendship. We arranged to meet a few times but they fell through due to circumstances beyond our control. Finally a date suited :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I did a little bit of research on the internet and visited the place that it would happen purely as a type of voyeur (which i more than enjoyed) to see if it was a safe place (this happened last September). Then I organised to go back to the same place with the possibility of participating fully if I felt that way inclined when the time came. from today and i’ll be in Paris with my daughter. i have still so much that i haven’t seen yet and we have quite a few things on our list to do. We’re going to visit Parc des Buttes-Chaumont, maybe wait and wait and wait for Samuel Beckett and enjoy Monet in the Musée de l’Orangerie.
This picture of the La Tour Eiffel was taken in June 2011…i was quite pleased with how it turned out :)
