Well I’m not sure that this counts exactly, but I can sign the alphabet. So admittedly it will take me a really long time to communicate, having to spell everything out, but at least that’s a start!

The real challenge

I swam with grey nurse sharks here in Oz and hammer heads in Mozambique…but I will definitely have to brave “swimming” with great whites – if you classify being in a cage as swimming!
The hardest part

Is keeping it up! It would help if I actually knew someone who spoke Italian that I could practise with :) But it definitely made life easier when I travelled through Italy…one day I would love to speak it fluently.
