Ive lasted a week without TV. Ive realised that i waste so much time infront of the TV and how there are much more fun things to do.

How I did it: In order to achieve this goal i had to write up a routine which was suitable for me. I run , do pushups, situps and lift weights daily. At first it was difficult to get into the habbit, so i made a set time of the day, where i have to exercise. Another aspect which helped me achieve this goal was choosing a sport which i enjoy-running! With practise i hope to come in the top 6 for crosscountry nex… Read how I did it…
According to kidshealth.org “kids and teens 8 to 18 years spend nearly 4 hours a day in front of a TV screen and almost 2 additional hours on the computer (outside of schoolwork) and playing video games”
Unfortunatly i am one of those kids :0
Today im going to try my best not to watch TV until next saturday (thats in a week).
The only acceptions is watching the news and educational programs i.e. history channel, geo etc. Only for 30 mins a day.
Rather than watching TV in my spare time i could:
-Paint/draw
-help around the house
-Visit a friend
-Make oragami
-play the piano
-make study notes for school
and so on….
