I always have a canvas bag in my handbag or a small one in my pocket for grocery shopping or any other impulse buys. This worked fine in the UK and Australia but now I’m in China it’s nigh impossible! Before you can shout out “bo yao” they’ve put your wee bit of steak into a bag and then put it into another one. sigh It aint easy, but I still try.

Just cos I never learned to ride a bike… god, it IS embarassing. And now I’m in China surrounded by millions of bikes and I have to traverse these dull flat roads on my FEET. sigh
I was doing this on my free weekends while I was living in London. It’s all flat going & easy and it’s a lovely way to see southern England. I’m looking forward to finishing it when I go back to the UK.
