Okay, for preparation, I have my sleeping bag set up outside to sit on when I watch the sunrise (okay, sun rises in the east, right? I can never remember) a clock and a camera, for documented proof I am actually staying up all night, diet coke, (for the caffeine, seeing as I detest coffee) TV, computer, The Lucky Ones, by Doris Mortman (for my entertainment) and finally, a lovely day at the beach tomorrow where I can sleep it off.

How I did it: I was at the beach with two of my friends, and we decided to go for a walk. After ambling around for about half an hour, we realized we had happened upon a completely deserted stretch of beach. I don't remember who suggested it, but before we knew it, we were in the water, skinny- dipping. Read how I did it…
So, the first pose on my yoga adventure. This is the most basic of yoga poses, often used as a rest pose in between more difficult positions. It was a really good stretch, and a good starting pose for a complete and utter novice, such as myself.
Westerly, Rhode Island. An empty beach on the Atlantic Ocean. Me, and two of my best friends. The only thing missing? Our bathing suits. I have now done this two times now, and there is nothing like it. Never have I felt so close to nature; or this old man who happened upon me after I body- surfed a wave. I landed on that beach the same way I landed in the doctor’s arms after being born; naked, and screaming.
