I lived a block away from a farmer’s market, and I would go, but I would also skip it a lot. It’s a lot to think about all the produce you want in a week. Sometimes it feels like too much of a commitment. And then the scene. I mean, I know I’m just like “them” but still I get annoyed. I hate feeling guilty when I forget to bring my own bags. And the coffee line is endless. I live further away now but I have to say that my daughter turns up her nose at Safeway produce so I have to go more and more.

It’s better than you think it is. Like, really really good. I had remembered it as being disgusting, then from frequent visits to “The Spaghetti Factory” where it’s not only free, it’s obligatory, I realized that it is a delicious blend of Pistachio (green) Chocolate (brown) and Maraschino (pinkish). Now Dreyer’s sells it. And a lot of Italian restaurants. Don’t let your prejudices or preconceived notions deprive you of this treat.

It would be nice to. That’s all. I mean, really, isn’t that all we’re looking for? I know you can be happy without meeting the love of your life, but truly, what could be better?
