I’m working on it…
got cards with character sketches, and events that happen…
need to piece them together somehow…
need to make the TIME!!!
I think the time issue is the biggest block for me right now…
for example, right now I should be working (at my JOB!)
but I’m wasting time here!!
just DO IT!!
gotta carve out even just 1 hour a day.
and that’s a lot…!
But I’m doing it cuz I’M A WRITER!!

I read other people writing about Flylady ( www.flylady.net ) and I went to the site and I’ve since started following her routines, taking the babysteps, and just 15 minutes a day, and I have to say, it’s working!
or at least helping A LOT!
setting up a weekly schedule is still a challenge, what with my boyfriend’s schedule being different every week, and my life basically revolving around his schedule (don’t ask!), as well as his not wanting to follow someone else’s “routines”, but things ARE improving….
I need to keep reminding myself of those babysteps, and how he WILL gradually be following the routines I am establishing…
already, my daughter (2 yrs. old) is pointing out where things belong… how excellent is that?!
I had a party on the weekend and the house was basically company ready, I just needed to do the party stuff – food, drinks, candles, flowers, etc. and clean-up after went fairly quickly as well. I’m happy about that.
I’m happy.
this seems to be an uphill battle…
I was running for three weeks, both on the treadmill at the gym and had even started the C25K out in the real world, and riding my bike in the mornings when I had a chance. things were going well.
and then one morning, while bending to put my daughter’s shoes on for her, I threw out my back!
I mean C’MON!!
I’m fine again now and I’m back to it again.
back to the beginning, but back to it…
but sheesh!!
