How I did it: I find that I am saving a lot of money by making things by hand. I've learned to make my own bagels and pizza dough, sew baby/birthday gifts, garden and make clothes for my daughters.Being more green has also helped. We use less air conditioning, natural cleaners like baking soda and lemons, cloth napkins and paper towels. I also buy things second hand.
