It’s amazing!

get married
Untitled 2 years ago

I wanted to say not worth it because of all the trouble I’ve faced, but even though it’s ended in divorce, I still think when it’s the right two people, marraige is a beautiful thing and it gives you a feeling of reassurance and it’s great to know you have someone who loves you and is there for you. It sucks when they let you down though! I’d really love to see more happily married couples and hope people know how to work through their problems together.

be a better muslim

I think the important thing is to constantly improve. I feel like I’m stronger in my faith now more than ever through my divorce, because I realized that I can only depend and trust Allah and He’s the only One that can help me or make things easier. I had placed so many hopes and dreams on the man I married and it was such a huge let down. And I was always strong and tried to be rational but I just fell in love and wanted to be married and thought we’d last forever, and we didn’t even last more than a couple months! SubhanAllah, we think we choose, we put all this effort into thinking and making decisions and trying to control things when it’s all up to Allah. I wanted to make this work but nothing helped…you can’t force things. I’ve really learned patience and acceptance in Allah’s plan and it’s given me so much peace inside.
