How I did it: I searched on the Internet to find a local golf club that offered golf school this summer. I chose Malm; Burl;v Golf Club because of the date, place, and the price. I planned our trip with maps and by driving past the golf course before the actual class started. Read how I did it…
How I did it: First I prepared for this by making the ppieces we would hang up in public. I chose a pattern for a crocheted butterfly and a small crocheted flower. I made 20 flowers and 8 butterflies.Next, my son and I decided WHERE to hang these up. We went on a 5 km walk around our town and hung the pieces up along the way. homeschool project for him this summer. I will visit with him and help him answer questions about each library we visit. Then he will compile our findings into a research report to compare and contrast the different libraries in our region. So far we have visited 5 libraries, in just 3 weeks. We are recording our observations, including number of computers to use, accessibility, book selection, atmosphere and friendly personnel.
The library that we visited today got high marks for the upstairs section, but not for friendly personnel or their teen section or children’s section. And their newspaper-magazine room was wonderful! They also seemed to care alot about art displays and community information.
Our next library to visit will be on Monday.
but this time with my youngest son and 2nd son. My youngest son still complains alot and has a hard time keeping up with me. This time I rode in front, my youngest son behind me and my 2nd son bringing up the rear, so we could both keep an eye on my youngest son.
