How I did it: I sent him a message on facebook to avoid actually speaking to him. He lives halfway across the country now, so the only thing I could have potentially done differently is speak to him on the phone. It basically said 'I'm still pissed off and hurt, but you've suffered long enough'.Don't rush forgiveness. I'll never in my life be able to fully forgive him, but I can extend an olive branch. Tis the season. Just spent $200 on my boyfriend’s Christmas gift…and I’m not done yet, either. That’s like a quarter of my monthly income. Sure, he’ll LOVE it, but he’ll buy me a chocolate bar or soap or something men think women like and then I’ll feel stupid.
