I’ve still got my first diary – it’s one of those little books with the key clasp on it – it was 1969 and I was 11. And I was in love with a different boy every week, apparently – amazing to be able to actually reach out and touch the person you were 30 years ago. I’ve been writing regularly for most of my life, and it’s good therapy, as well as being a window back into time – you can revisit your past anytime you want, and you don’t have to rely on fading memories to get there, either.
One thing I’ve discovered the hard way – no one, and I mean NO ONE will understand you any better by letting them read your private thoughts – it seems to do more harm than good – so keep your private stuff private. If they are really curious, they can read them when you’re gone…...

many diet sodas contain aspertame, which is basically a poison – it turns into formic acid and over time it will mess you up badly – I have an article to share for those willing to heed the message
