How I did it: Write every day. Even when you do not want to. The minimum to write everyday to write 100,000 words in a month is 3,334 words every day. It is hard, but very doable if you set your mind to it. I also had a very good support system of local writers who were also going for their own word count goals, some higher, some lower. How I did it: It started out when I was moving from Statesboro back to Atlanta. I sorted through almost all my belongings and put things I didn't want in seperate boxes. How I did it: Read! Go to the library instead of splurging on books, you'll read more that way on a slight deadline. Mix your books, like having some fast fiction reads and other self help books. Always have a goal in mind, and if you get stuck on a book because it's boring then drop it. Maybe one day it will be more interesting, but there's no point in powering through something unenjoyable.
