help stop poverty
The total amount of children die of poverty. 4 years ago

Around 10.6 million children still die every year before reaching their fifth birthday; 3.3 million babies are still born, more than 4 million die within 28 days of birth.

In the past year, poverty has been a big issue in third world countries. It is a big concern for children more than adults, because younger people are more dependent on a good diet to remain healthy and to grow properly.

Almost 2 million children under 5 years are underweight, when a child suffers from major poverty; they also suffer from malnutrition.

1 billion children live in poverty (that is 1 in 2 children in the world). 640 million without adequate shelter, 400 million have no access to safe water; 270 million have no access to health services.

30,000 children die of extreme poverty every day; this is almost 11 million child deaths from poverty each year. Malnutrition is a primary cause of poor health and premature death among children in developing countries. Malnourished children are at a greater risk of death and are more likely to come from poorer households.
