So I have traditional (but clear) on the bottom now and get invisalign on the top. Wish I had done it as a kid, since it would be over now and would hurt less (both in the mouth and in the pocketbook!)
I can’t wait to get these off already – they will look fabulous!
So a tooth fell apart (baby tooth) and it had to be pulled and now the braces plan is forced in motion. Braces and then a dental implant. Yikes!
Found a cute place in a decent (not preferred) area. A whole house for what condos are going for, and yet it is still too expensive. Sigh. If there was a fellow involved, a partner, then I could def. afford more. It is hard to live in this town, much less buy in this town on one person’s salary.

The gentleman caller is writing his dissertation. I woke up in the middle of the night with research ideas. Guess I need to start looking into programs again…
It is possible that I am working on this. Met a new fellow that I can’t get out of my head. And everything just seems to fit. Kinda waiting for the other shoe to drop, but enjoying it in the meantime!
Apparently I am too blonde for laser hair removal. Gah. Going to consider a No! No!

Being able to sleep definitely counts for caring for self. Melatonin has made it so I can sleep. It could be entirely placebo effect, but I’ll take anything, even that!
So I went an checked out my first place! I won’t be getting it, but it felt like a real step.
I took some classes, I lived in the right countries… I am not a pro, but I can hold my own (especially if it is slower music!)

I feel like my window of opportunity has shut. I had wanted to do this straight out of undergrad and then straight out of grad school, but I was with someone and then he was my fiance. If I knew then what I know now about him, I would have gone and done it. I hate how people say, so sanctimoniously, that they have no regrets, blar blar blar. I regret not seeing that the relationship was crumbling and I let it stand between me and some of my lifelong goals, such as through hiking.
No anger, just realization and observation in the above.
