I’ve managed to put up a boilerplate welcome page on the main URL and have started adding content to the blog. It’s using Wordpress as the architecture, so things are going up fairly quickly and easily. Wordpress has evolved enough to allow for easy upgrading, modifications, and posting from anywhere. I should have a fully functional blog in a matter of a couple more weeks. It’s live now, despite not being totally done.

A mac pro is just too expensive. There is no reason why I need all 8 cores churning away performing some super number crunching. A mac mini running a dual core processor is plenty for desktop computing. People don’t need to have a personal super computer. Besides a mac mini is about 1/5th the cost.
