I thought I read the scales wrong so I made my housemate come and check. It can’t be so easy surely? All I did was start walking more and drinking more water! The only other things I did differently was Friday when my housemates had a take-away I said no and made my own dinner (which I wouldn’t normally have done) and I went to a Step Aerobics class which was so much fun it didn’t feel like exercise!
Next week I’ll do the same but I’m going to write down everything I eat, keep a notebook with me or something. (not on here, wouldn’t want to bore anyone!) Then the week after I’ll start changing what I eat too.

I’ve been drinking about a litre and a half of water a day, and I do feel a little better for it – I feel more awake, I have more energy and I’ve been sleeping better too.
I’m definitely going to keep this up – it wasn’t as hard as I thought it was going to be!

In 4 days I have had 15 replies! I wasn’t expecting more than one or two. I’m going to write back to everybody, it’s polite, but I think I only want to continue writing to about half (the other half are marriage proposals, requests for girlfriends/money/perverted photos, and in one quite bizarre email, a Ghanaian gentleman ever so politely requested that I send him a bottle of ketchup. Weird.)
I just find it really amazing that there are so many like-minded men and women, from all over the world, wanting to make friends and share their thoughts and dreams and life with people they don’t know. It’s exciting! The crazies are just a risk you take I guess.
