How I did it: We sold one of our houses and used some of the money to get rid of our credit card debt. Don't worry. We still had plenty left. Unfortunately capital gains taxes will eat up some of it. The world is just too crazy these days. Maybe I’m just getting old but I long to be at my cabin on the side of a mountain and write. When I’m there the world goes away and I can relax and enjoy instead of racing to stay on a schedule. Sigh… summer is coming and school will be out. That is what sustains me through the cold long winter…
