Okay, I’m in Advanced English II (10th grade), and we have a reading project, and I need to read a book that is considered a “classic”. For this project we have to do this big, strenuous analyzation, and although I like that sort of thing, i’m not good with patients and boring time spent on reading a book, even if it is a classic. So, any recommendations?
I only have a couple weeks to read it, it has to be a classic with lots of symbolism, theme, and deep internal aspects, and not over about 200 pages. (I’ve already read Fahrenheit 451, Lord of the Flies, To Kill a Mockingbird, and a couple others on the list. + all Shakespeare is ruled out says my teacher; I guess because that’s what we read in class.) Also, I really don’t like books about war. Setting of a war is fine, just no military-ish stuff. THANK YOU!
WOOHOO!!!
i got my grades back tonight,
and looking forward to that money (if my parents can spare it, we’re poor)
BOOYA
