I so wanted to go to Alaska... 3 years ago

When I was in college, I seriously considered getting a job at a tuna cannery in Alaska. I was that desperate to see Alaska. But I chickened out when I read about the job descriptions. And it also sucked that you had to get your own airfare to Seattle. I guess I was smart enough to realize that you would not see much of Alaska that way. And you’d come home stinking of fish.
