How I did it: My now husband, then boyfriend and I went on a 2 week road trip though most of the southeren states. We slept in the car at rest stops, and walmart parking lots to save money on hotels. The only issue is that the blazer that we drove didn't have a gas gadge or an air conditioner, it was hot in the mid of august in texas. Along being stuck in Texas with the hurricane traffic.
