If you can stop doing this for one week, and notice how they grow so quickly, soon, you won’t have the urge. I’ve bit mine since I was a kid and I didn’t bite them for one week ( and it about killed me ) and now they’re so long and nice, I can’t see doing it again. I even went and got a manicure to deter myself.

I wrote the writer of Dogs of Babel an email. I told her how gorgeous her book was and how I recommend it to all of my customers. She wrote back the next day.
