My new place in upstate New York is literally a half-block from Bikram yoga and I’m stoked. They have an introductory offer I intend to make good use of. Everything in town does good discounts for students, so perhaps they do too. Regardless, there’s absolutely no excuse anymore since I’ll be practically living next door to a Bikram studio. I’m so happy! :-)

How I did it: This happened of its own accord (pun intended) in my life. As little as three years ago, I owned and/or operated five different kind of transportation: a motorcycle, a pickup, two cargo vans, and a Jeep. It was like operating a valet station anytime I wanted to go somewhere. It was beyond ludicrous, and thanks to the economy and the overwhelming desire for something different, I've shaped up. It was miserable at first, and I cried when I … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I really didn't want to go to that party at my friend's house that September night, and I now know why. I will never forget the very moment I met her and how electric that experience was. With all I've seen and done, in my literal hundreds of thousands of miles of travel, I'd never met anyone like her. Being around her was horribly disconcerting, ephemeral, and totally transcendent, with far too much baggage in the way. And I'd do it all … Read how I did it…
How I did it: I was 17 when we met, and I still remember the first time we spoke on the phone. We were pals right away, got engaged a couple years later, married a few years after that, and divorced after four years. We're still the best of friends; we're truly an Air sign combination of Aquarius-Gemini that works best under platonic circumstances. I love her dearly and know that we'll be there for each other, no matter what. Don't ask me how I know th… Read how I did it…

My girlfriend bought tickets for us to see them at Terminal 5 in NYC this Thursday. We’re taking the train up from Florida, courtesy of my folks, and it’s going to be a blast. I am so stoked to finally be seeing the Shins after all these years.
I finally got the gumption up to exercise again, and even though it was only a few minutes of it I feel a lot better. As I get older, I realize that goals aren’t completed in a day. So I’m going to just make the small effort of jogging, swimming, or biking for a majority of the days in a week and see what happens. It’ll definitely beat the nothing I’ve been up to lately.
