be a size 8 again (read all 6 entries…)
Again.

The weight goes on so easy. We’ve been eating our way through Florida for the last month, but I was getting chunky before that even.

It’s a bad cycle, but at the very least I’m aware of it now: something pivotal in my life changes or ends (a job, generally) and when I don’t have anything keeping me busy, I eat everything in sight. Unfortunately, one side of my family is pretty hefty so I’ve got those genetics working against me. (In some other incarnation I’m sure it helped not to starve to death, but alas.)

I got down to within five pounds of this weight in May, my family came for graduation (the biggest mistake), and I got really bummed and lazy. Then my gym membership expired and the summer off turned into six months later. The strange part is that I’m so much better at getting to the gym when I’m busy (or at least on a schedule). So in essence, it’s time to get back to spin, squash, and weights…
