A couple of months ago, I bought a new pair of running shoes (the old ones fell apart). Got “measured” at a specialist shop in London, got video’d running, ran across pressure mats etc. Found the right shoe and took them home. Had a 10k run in them that night and my left ankle began to hurt. Same again during the next session. And the next. It’s now so sore that I can’t run at the moment. If it doesn’t get better, a trip to the doctor may be needed (who will probably say “it’s a running injury, nothing we can do about it!!)
If not, then I challenge you to name another !! Did all his classic songs, and a few covers. During a short pause in the performance whilst there was a costume change, the pianist played an Elton John number. The large screen showed Elton in the audience. Got a big cheer from the crowd.
As part of the encore, Elton John came on stage and sung The Bealtes classic, “The Long and Winding Road”, supported by Prince!! Pure class.
Finally, I had been told by others who had been to stay after the encores and after the house lights came up. After about 5 minutes, Prince and his entire band walked back through the audience in the arena to perform one final encore. I originally had a great seat, but at this point, everyone surged forward and I ended up 3 rows from the front.
Oh yeah, and he gave everyone a free copy of his new CD. Sweet.
