How I did it: My best friend and her husband were living in Belgium. I knew there was no better time for my first visit to Europe. We also planned a visit to Paris! I took 2 weeks off of work and had a blast! My goal in this adventure wasn't to backpack and see all of Europe, it was to spend time with my best friend...in an awesome setting. ;) Read how I did it…

How I did it: Sent out my resume to a bunch of craigslist adds. Even got a few interviews which boosted my confidence. When it came to the job I really wanted I took my resume and cover letter to the manager in person. Even got a half hour interview on the spot. Got a call back for another interview a few weeks after that and then was offered the job! Read how I did it…

Yikes! When did this happen? I planned a fabulous dinner for me and my friends at a restaraunt in Portland. Last year we did this and it was such a wonderful night. Eating and drinking together is such a meaningful way to celebrate getting older!
