Step by step I am getting there and this week was a huge week for colour in the world of Lucy Keogh!!!!
I have bought a gorgeous cardigan in a salmon/orangey colour – it’s fabulous and I wear it all the time.
I also got a beautiful royal purple trench from Gap on sale – which was great!!!
And today…well today…I got properly spoilt and bought a Mulberry Mitzy bad in rouge noir which is a stunning purple/magenta/pink sort of colour and I love it!!!!
So I just need to ditch the grey tops and get back into whites and colour and I’ll be there….hurrah!

How I did it: I have never had so much fun doing something! It was like realising all my childhood fantasies of what a little girl's bedroom should be like - and went totally mad! She's got bright pink walls....colour chosen by her (3yrs old!) and then there is an EXPLOSION of butterflies EVERYWHERE!!!! We have mirrored ones, vinyl wall sticker ones, and these absolutely gorgeous pop-up like ones I got at Next - I have been collecting butterfly things… Read how I did it…
How I did it: Well I started taking risks and enjoying myself while looking at clothes and accessories. I bought myself the most amazing Mulberry bag in a reddy/purple colour and everything has pretty much spun off from there. Lots of cranberry, grape, purple, jade - heaps of all those amazing deep jewel colours that I have always loved - and have finally found again after months of wearing greys and neutral colours that I have been hiding … Read how I did it…
How I did it: So I was approached by two people on my way to work about being a model for a demonstration for new techiniques at a well known salon and I said YES!!! And my hair looks fantastic and what was even better is that they do the workshops once every 5 weeks and need someone each time so I am going to be their model for the next few at least - which means that I have finally made myself sort my hair out - which makes the biggest differen… Read how I did it…

Today was a totally amazing day…..I woke up and received a surprise present from my husband which was totally unexpected! And from there the day only got better….I am trying to let go of all the crap that other people bring into my life and just let myself enjoy the fantastic place we are in our life right now and enjoy every moment.
Carpe diem my friends!
I have found this FANTASTIC dining table – dark dark wood and fully extendable – on Ebay for a steal at £50….and it comes with 3 chairs (random I know) but I could sell them on and use the chairs that we have already…so I just need to discuss the option with my husband a little more (ie: convince him that we need it!) and hopefully it will be ours soon.
