212 miles from Portpatrick to Cockburnspath. It’s remote, not particularly popular, and probably requires a tent. Hmm, something else to learn to do – camping!

It’s a walk, stupid, 190 miles from the West coast, St Bees, to the East coast, Robin Hood Bay, of the UK, as described by Wainwright. Supposed to be much much better than the Pennine Way, and I just love the idea of starting and ending by the sea.
A Hewitt is a mountain in England Wales or Ireland over two thousand feet high. There are 100 or so in Wales. Those are what I wanna climb!
