I’ve had two consults with plastic surgeons here in my area… they think that I’m definetly a candidate and want to take me from a DDD to a large D. What a relief that will be…the only thing that really worries me are the scars…Now if only I can get Tricare to pay for it!

How I did it: I googled overeaters anonymous. There was a link to search for meetings in your city, so I did. Luckily there was one right my my house. I talked a friend with similar issues into going, and we just went. It was a small meeting of about five women including us, and we talked about our issues with food, how they were able to start overcoming those issues, and what helps and helped them. I got some phone numbers and really felt good about g… Read how I did it…
I love the look of short hair, but miss the femininity of long hair. So everytime I try growing it out, I get tired of the awkward stage and just chop it. Doesn’t help that I’m in the military and have to put it up everyday, so when it’s too short to put up but too long to leave down…arggh! Lol.
I am in the military, so I have the option of having my military insurance pay for the procedure. The problem is- they require me to lose at least 65lbs before they’ll cover it, and I don’t get to choose the surgeon that does it!! I feel that it would be so much easier and more profitable to lose the weight after the surgery. I have to wear four sports bras (two with wire, two without) just so they don’t flop around when I run. It’s such a huge pain in the ass. I have back pain (esp. in the morning when I wake up), shoulder grooves, and when I make the mistake of converting my bra to a halter to wear a cute top, I have the red strap mark on my neck for days!! Urgh. So frustrating. So, I’m doing research and can hopefully get this done and pay for it myself. I have a local consult next Wednesday. Will post results.
