This is the part about being an artist that I find the most daunting: setting aside a certain amount of works that you think will sell you as an artist. I find the task so ominous that it’s hard to even start, but I have to finish it sometime if I ever want a decent job.

How I did it: I searched online for some guides and online stores that sell bentos. The more I read about them the more I wanted one. My first bento box came from a kit I ordered at allthingsforsale.com that came with a bag, chopsticks and a band to keep the box shut. How I did it: Trying on lots and lots of different styles and being honest with myself. If it doesn't work it doesn't work, that's what makes all of us unique! I picked out colors I know I liked but also look good with my skin (fair).
