I signed up for a class last year and it was cancelled! This year, I’ve signed up at a different school. Hope it goes through, because I’m looking forward to it!

Today, I did the cardio and stretching portion of my workout program. I did the full workout on Saturday. A friend of mine is getting her certification as a perosnal trainer, so she gave me this routine. I wanted something fun, because I get bored easily. She has me working with a balance ball, and that is fun! I feel good!
I love the gymn in my building, because it’s private, has a TV and has everything I need for a good workout!
I took a pottery class last month that focused on hand building with clay. It claimed to teach us wheel throwing but we never got to it. Now, I want to work on the wheel. So I’m ready for more!
I took a pottery class years ago and was disappointed that I wasn’t very “good” at it.
Aince then, I’ve learned to be more gentle with myself when I made mistakes. In the past, I would just run down anything I built that wasn’t what I’d consider “good.” Now, I am doing it to please myself only, and giving myself the space to LEARN. Learning, for me, means suspending expectations and criticism. And, much to my surprise, I’m finding that I’m producing much better stuff this way. It’s not professional quality, yet, but I don’t expect it to be.
By suspending any urges to criticise what I do, I am more open to creativity, and am able to enjoy myself much, much more.
