How I did it: I took a course in plant taxonomy this past summer. The course had a collection required for the course of fifty plants. I'm sure some were invasive but...I know plants native to other areas too. Read how I did it…

My comprehensive exams will be in a few weeks. Right now I’m working on refreshing that biochemistry. I think that will be the hardest exam, so I’m spending the most time on that material.

I’ve signed up for a different race, but about the same length, in January 2008. I haven’t been training a whole lot for it, but the course profile seems to be mostly downhill so I think I’ll survive. :)
