I’m putting together a business plan to start a men’s store.
I plan to resell men’s clothing, accessories and gear. I plan to sell two ways: online and to hold local sales events.

How I did it: First I joined my local freecycle group through yahoo groups. Then I learned the rules for posting free items. Then I posted items I wanted to give away for free at http://finance.groups.yahoo.com/group/AshlandORFreecycleI responded to phone calls and people came to take away what I did not want or need any more. How I did it: I helped my "team Captain" raise money for blood cancers research; I hosted a fundraiser and posted my results on light the nightwebsite. We walked with 20 or 30 friends and family and even people who had never met my Sister. Her Widower was/is enthousiastic about helping other families who face the struggle to survive a blood cancer too. Read how I did it…
I haven’t lost any flexibility. I have learned a bunch of important things about my right hip after seeing the pt for 8 sessions! I’ll have to put the excercises to use now. Also I joined the Y and went a few times.
This is not the leap I was imagining.
It is a kind of slow progress.
Somehow I grew up thinking it is wrong to ask for help. I guess I got away with it for more than three decades. I’ve been practicing this skill of “asking for help” for eight years now. I find it most hard to ask my friends; I feel more comfortable giving help.
