I have two weeks worth under my belt now. I am starting with weekly massage for one month then I’ll taper off to twice a month and then possibly monthly. I have so much accumulated stress in my body. She comes to my house and is really affordable. It feels so good to take care of myself on so many levels.

It’s been on my new years resolution list for the last 15 years! I finally enrolled in a class that I attend weekly and I signed up to play in a women’s singles league with five matches under my belt now. Today, I even took a private lesson with my class instructor. Tennis is the only thing that can get me out for one or two hours straight on a weeknight after a long day of work or shuttling my daughter around for her classes. I have more energy and it’s a real stress buster. I hit that ball so hard sometimes, it’s like someone’s name is written on it. I love the feeling in my body when I am all warmed up and catching my second wind in the second set. I love not giving up and going after every shot. I love how focused and fun it is to play.

I need to take some action on this. I need a good masseuse that is not so expensive. Burke Williams is great in a pinch, but I don’t have to pay that much for my health maintenance plan. Every now and then to splurge is good – but I am looking for a twice a month gig deal! I want someone just like Heather – a real healer – good energy. Nearby or can come to my house. I’m going to start asking around and checking places out – test-drive some local masseuses until I find the one or a few! I am taking the next step! My body and health need this! Especially with two people on leave at work and bringing the school year to an end and writing the annual report – aahh! I better get moving on finding someone to help me get through the next three months!
