Be sure that you are very prepared if you decide to climb Fujisan. It is much more dangerous than anything I read before-hand let on. I am in pretty good physical shape, and even my leggs were shaking! Be sure to do lots of research so that you know what gear to take. It can be very hot at the bottom, but is VERY VERY WET and FREEZING at the top. The one thing that I would do different next time is to pack a sweatshirt and two extra pairs of socks, an extra pair of gloves, and a beanie inside a couple big zip-lock bags in my pack. There is nowhere warm to rest at the top, and you will want dry clothes to change into. If I would have had more clothes I could have stayed at the top longer and really enjoyed the accomplishment and the tranquil environment more.

I read some books recently that prove how rediculous the story line is and how inacurrate it is to historical facts. I realize that it is fiction, but this information has caused me to loose interest beacuse if I were to read it I would just keep thinking about how illogical all of it is!

when you are taking vitamins or dietary supplements be sure that your Dr. knowns what you are taking. Sometimes if you have too much of a vitamin it can cause fatigue, and there are some dietary supplements and herbs that counteract eachother or have negative effects on other drugs. Just because it says that it is natural, doesnt necessarily mean that its safe. Take the right vitamins and you will feel alot better and more energized!
