How I did it: I have always volunteered, but it was always required of me. Which in my mind makes it more of a voluntold kind of situation. Anyway, I am now out of school and making an entire day (Monday) into a volunteerathon! Great times! I just found a group of people that I wanted to focus my attention on and found an agency via a social worker that I know, met with their volunteer coordinator, and tah-dah!!! Read how I did it…
How I did it: I met someone new, and was trying to figure out something fun and different for us to do on a first date. Rockclimbing came to mind, and she told me later that it was the best first date ever! Read how I did it…
I just finished reading Matthew. It’s the first gospel that I’ve read all the way through. In the past I’ve started to read, and then got too intimidated to continue. I’m actually exicted to learn more!
I’ve been mentally reflecting on things that I am grateful for since I don’t have the internet at home, but here are mine for today.
1. The internet
2. All of the stories that people are willing to share with me about their spiritual lives.
3. My MOM for loving me unconditionally
4. Feeling calm
5. the bookstore
