I suppose this means to meditate with regularity, and not just slip into a meditative trance as has been happening. I have heard that meditation is good for every part of your self, and have been told by yoga teachers that yoga only exists as the other part of meditation-the yin and the yang sort of thing. This is a nice idea, honestly. Can’t hurt to try.
Does a blog count? I am starting one for when I am in Mexico.
We’ll see. It will be helpful to post pictures to, and hopefully someone will use it as a resource when coming down to the city.
Learning about a specific part of your surroundings enhances your surroundings as a whole.
That “something great” is Argentina! I need to stop spending, or at least make more than is spent.
They are addictive! And biking makes your legs nice, too.
Maybe it’s just a growing-up sort of thing…like knowning when to shower. Well, still working on that one.
Next winter I am planning on going to Argentina…for a year! Well, two semesters, which equals nine months. And after that, who knows?Seriously,I might WWOOf down there and defer from UMass for a semester (or indefinitely?) Maybe transfer to a school down there. or maybe come back to Massachusetts and be so grateful to be there.
Staying down there for a year means fluency!
Basically, everyone feels insecure at some point in their lives. Some people feel the sting more often than others. But being ‘self-confident’ is just about showing your real self as much as possible-people will love you for it.
a really helpful book was Succulent Wild Woman by Sark
My second tattoos is even more lovely than the first. it is a green apple cut in half with the pi symbol in the middle instead of seeds. Around this are flying bluebirds. It looks great and is really beautiful.
picture to come!
I’ve been too lazy to floss lately..oh no
I am focused on too many other things. Maybe when it is more of a realistic goal, then yes. But not right now.
Just do it! Don’t ignore your muse. If you ahve to get out of bed or pull your car over to write soething down, then just do it. You will be gad.
You just ahev to let go and trust yourself!
I am going to practice every day for at least 30 minutes. Today was the first day fo this regimen, and it went well!
It will be good to become more comfortable making up my own songs or just “jamming” on the violin. I have never done enough of that, until now
I am going to travel next year, every possible chance.
Spain, France, Mexico, California, Scotland, the Netherlands, Greece, etc!
Gardening is so greta. it is a wonderful way to get outside, use those thigh muscles, listen to freshly-downloaded music, and…get poison ivy! aaahh! Oh well. I am waiting until it clears up a little to get back in the garden. I will be more cautious now!
I did some paring down yesterday, but soon it will start in earnest. Ia m going to set up an amazon account and sell a greta many books through that. I am also going to do this in the summer, when I get home. And all the money can be saved or used for whatever the fuck I want. That is the best part!
I love plants. Whent he nurseries really open up around here, I am going to spend some money and beautiful plants. And while at home I will plant lots. As well as when I am at Putnam Camp. There is a garden that I want to revive. Maybe plant peas or soemthing really easy, like pretty flowers.
I thought it could be cool to trya nd get the camp director to keep bees at the camp…they would make honey and everything. But if not, then Iw ant to try and kee them somewhere at school. There must be an interest for that sort of thing, we’ll see…
Next semester I am taking french intensive, which meets every day. I am goign to go to the french department and ask what I can do over the summer to prepare, there must be something.
