March is the last month I’ll be working at my present job. I’ve been in this company for eight years, that is a lot! I have actually resigned on November but I agreed to stay until end of March. On the 18th will be my last day because I have to travel on the 19th for personal reasons.
I want to take a couple of months off before starting on a new job. I am also looking to move abroad so the search for a job is a bit harder.
Planting the Seeds is an amazing incentive for this month. I am planting the seeds for my new life. For now what I am doing is letting everyone know that I am leaving the company and that I am looking for a job abroad. I trust that the right job in the right place will appear at the right time.

On Friday night when I got home I found a package waiting for me at my door. It was Zijue’s journal! I was soooo thrilled and happy and excited!! It is beautiful, I loved everything that the other participants have made so far.
I think this is a wonderful experiment and I encourage everyone to participate.

I can’t believe it!! Day #900 and I am still wearing the braces… though it is quite longer than I expected, I am still happy about getting this done. It is very satisfactory to see pictures of me smiling and feel good about it.
This is not only important for this particular goal but also for all the things that I never thought I could do. They can be done! I feel confident that I can achieve whatever I want. :D
Last month I had the chance to go to NY for a few days for business. I took the chance to contact a headhunter specialized in my field and had an interview. I think it went pretty well. She told me I needed to have a website with my bio and showreel so I am working on it.
I actually told her that NY is my ideal but that I am open to any other place in the world that means a challenge and a move forward in my career.
I think I should e-mail her again soon so she has me in her mind. If my website takes much longer, I will e-mail her before it is ready.
I am also beginning to contact other people I know. Today I spoke with a friend I’ve known for many years who lives in London and has many many contacts himself. He gave me some good advice. It was great to talk to him.
I finally got my gift today. I am so happy and grateful!! Thank you very much Renewalsh!!
And thank you Meridia for organizing this amazing experience once again.

I’ve spent this week in Los Angeles and I was super scared to drive here. I’ve only been here once before and I didn’t rent a car and it was a nightmare. So this time I said to myself that I should overcome the fear and just do it.
So I did!! I rented a car at the airport and drove pretty badly and frightened to the Hotel but the day after that I got better at it and I feel totally confident by now. I am so happy. :)
This might sound silly for many of you but it is such a huge accomplishment to me. :)
This Secret Santa has completed her task.

I am currently working in Rio, it is such a beautiful city too bad it was only sunny the day I arrived! It’s been raining ever since then.

Yesterday I got my new – and hopefully final – set of braces. There are seven so it will take around 5 more months… :( It is not a big deal but I was supposed to be done with this by now. Anyways, I really hope my teeth are perfect after this. They are so much better than when I started but I still have the front teeth a bit crooked.
All in all I am still super happy to be doing this. :D
well, it was actually 2 days ago but I didn’t realize until today. I was supposed to be done with the treatment by now but I am far from ending it yet. I actually did everything right, used the braces all the time and didn’t miss any appointment. However, I guess this is not an exact science, so to speak. I am currently waiting for my new set of braces to be ready. I should call the doctor tomorrow since there were supposed to be ready last week but they did not call me yet. I honestly don’t mind using the braces but I would definitely rather be done with it already.
The improvement is huge though, so I’m still super happy about this.
I hope I can be done with it within this year.
I need to start looking for a job. However, what conflicts me is that I do have a job here and I don’t wanna jeopardize it until I have something new. I did that once (quit my job before finding a new one) and it didn’t work out well for me.
I think the best thing to do is to find a headhunter that can do a search for me. For that, I need to update my resume, which I haven’t done in over 5 years now.
I will do it this weekend so I can start somewhere.
I actually did a list of the people I should contact myself but these are all currently clients or partners so it is not easy to approach them while I am still at my current position…
That’s how I decided I should start with a headhunter. I will.
sadly, things are getting pretty ugly in my country… so I really feel this is the moment to put the energy on this goal. I want to live abroad for a while, New York is my ideal but I know it’s gonna be hard to find a job. I will sure try, though. I’ve got a double citizenship, argentinean – italian… so it would be much easier for me to move to Europe but I really want to live in NY for a while so I’m gonna start looking into that direction. Then, if I can’t get a job there, I will look into my chances in Europe.
One of the reasons why I wanna live in NY is because I want to study Design at Parsons… it would be great to be able to do both things, live and study in NY. Wish me luck!
I was just about to finish the treatment but my teeth are not perfect yet. So today I went to my Orthodontist to get new impressions taken for a new set of braces… they will be ready in about 3 weeks. I hope they don’t give me 10 more, I hope it’s shorter than that. However, what I care the most about is that my smile is as perfect as possible :)
So I finally got some free time while I am working in Barcelona.
I went to a couple of Gaudí’s constructions, here is a pic of Casa Battló. I also did a lot of walking and quite a bit of shopping!

I’m so busy these days that I don’t even have the time to write here. Not sure it corresponds well to the “Action and Adventure” call but this is what I have to do on a personal level:
1. Call my stepmother;
2. Get the gyn analysis done3. Organize my bedroom closet;
4. Send all documents to my accountant
5. Upload the Croatia pictures to my facebook6. Organize the trip to Barcelona (this is work but I would like to stay for a couple more days, since I haven’t been there in over 10 years);
7. Finish the frames project
I forgot to post it but last July 29th was my 2 year anniversary of my orthodontics treatment. I am really close to the end of the treatment now and I am super happy with the results I already have. Of course, there is still some time left to finish but I feel so much better about my smile now, that I can’t even tell you. :D :D :D
Today I went on an excursion to Montenegro. We bordered all the Kotor bay, went to Kotor and then to Budva. It was nice but I like Croatia better :)
Though the story of Montenegro is really interesting too.
Wow!! 700 is a lot of days! Supposedly, I am less than 3 months away of finishing the treatment… however, as I see my teeth now, I think it might take a bit longer. And while I can’t wait to get it over with… I really don’t mind it all that much and I am more concerned of my smile being as perfect as possible. So I’ll wait and I’ll be a good girl and won’t complain about it. This is so unreal to be actually doing at last that I am beyond happy with this goal.
