but it’s $13.65 an hour, and that’s not too shabby! I’m still studying for the GACE to become a certified teacher and hopefully after I pass that I can get into some full time employment!

About six months ago I started seeing Dr. Abbey for grief counseling. She gave me a journal and told me I needed to write in it. I used this journal to record my feeling, write letters to granddaddy, and think things through. I finished the whole book, which is unusual for me. Usually I start a journal and never finish it. I think this might be because I love to buy journals. So I’ve finished the Dr. Abbey journal and I also got a new journal to start in January. I’m using a old journal to finish out this year. That way I can start fresh with a fresh journal in the new year!
Because this Christmas was extremely hard without granddaddy here we did things differently. After opening presents and eating monkey bread mom and I painted my room. I love the new color and the room feels larger with darker paint on the walls. We also finished my shoe bench we were making and got it in my room. Things are starting to come together. New room, new year, new life!
