How I did it: I had gotten to the point where I was drinking one every day or every other day... and even though it was the really classy stuff, I realized it wasn't really doing me any good. I thought about my tooth enamel being burned off, and that did it for me. It has definitely done good things for my body fat composition and it's WAY better now to have one ginger ale like once a year as a special treat rather than for no reason a… Read how I did it…

How I did it: Learning to eat and appreciate sushi properly is probably not something you can do in just one visit. If you are interested in really getting to know sushi as a culinary experience, go to a sushi bar with a good reputation, and sit at the bar. Even if you are not comfortable conversing with or ordering from the chef, watching him or her work with the food is very interesting, and you can learn a lot just through observation. Sometimes I think that I will have lots of time to do this when I start working full time. But part of me still has to wonder how I managed to sink so far into credit card debt in just three years after graduating from college debt-free. It makes me feel terrible.
We are thinking about committing to the Rehoboth Beach marathon in Delaware this November… nervous but excited. Glad that the other two women I’m running with are interested in doing a smaller race for our first marathon together.
