Yes, really, a good old-fashioned chin-up.
Because even though I was in sports in my youth and I’m one of the strongest girls I know, I still can’t do a chin-up.
Damnit.

Because it’s as close as I’ll probably ever get to joining the circus. Plus, my balance on 2 feet is sometimes so lacking that it’s worth checking out whether it’d be any better upside down.
What is it? It’s the round drum that provides the running thrumthrum beat in the background (or foreground) or traditional Irish music. It’s goatskin stretched on a wooden frame with a T cross bar, played with a little double ended wooden stick. It’s wonderful :)
